Keegan Doty-Smith

Regional Manager

I joined this internship in my sophomore year of college and as I was starting, I was like this is way too good to be true, but it ended up being the best decision of my life. This internship really pushed my limits and tested my breaking point, but it only turned me into the successful person I am today. I have grown so much personally; beforehand I was a bit nervous and overthought everything. Now I am very extroverted and love making new friends and connecting with likeminded people who want to better their lives like many of the staff here at YEAA. I also grew professionally now saying I can run a $150,000 dollar summer startup making a ton of choices on my own and if I had any questions I was backed up by great people and mentorship. I can also say I have skills in sales, marketing, the hiring and firing process, leading and managing a team, and great customer service all while I was 20 years old putting me way ahead of all my peers and growing my resume tremendously. I was able to have a very smooth, clean, and organized season with the help of my mentor and the office staff while being very profitable. It's not just an internship it's an experience that prepares you for real world problems and success, I was pushed out of my comfort zone so much and doing so I grew to an amazing point I never thought I could get too but with a goal crushing attitude and no excuses anything is possible. I am excited to return for another season and help the New England region grow while also helping change students' lives like this company has done for me.
