Becoming a Branch Manager for Student Painters has easily been one of the best opportunities I have ever experienced in my entire life. I was hesitant to accept the position, but I am so thankful that I did. At just 20 years old, I ran a $92,000 business and profited around $14,000 in less than seven months. In addition to improving my financial security, I made life-long connections with customers, my team, and co-workers. I also impacted my future in a way that will make me stand out from my peers by allowing myself to grow within this amazing environment that promotes learning, self-improvement, and development. This experience caused me to better myself and those around me in so many ways unlike never before and I could not be more thankful for that.

While this summer was made up of three of the most challenging months of my life, it’s also been one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done. I now have the experience and attitude to amaze any potential employer, and the confidence to try. Between customers, employees, and the people who doubted me, I’ve gained skills in interpersonal relationships, business, and life in general that I never dreamed I would have. Managing a business is in no way for everyone, but if you can pull it off a summer with YEAA - Student Painters will absolutely change your life.
