Ryan Shepherd

As a sophomore in college, I began my journey with Young Entrepreneurs Across America (YEAA) as a Branch Manager. This opportunity gave me my first true real-world business experience, allowing me to run my own business and take full responsibility for its success.

What I love most about YEAA is the opportunity it provides college students to grow professionally, develop valuable leadership skills, and experience a unique Work Hard, Play Hard culture. The skills and experiences gained through this program go far beyond what can be taught in a classroom. YEAA challenges Branch Managers to step outside their comfort zones, make real-world decisions, and develop as both business leaders and mentors.

One of the most rewarding aspects of my role has been working with driven, motivated college students and watching them grow, overcome challenges, and achieve success of their own. Seeing the impact this program has on students is what continues to motivate me.

I look forward to continuing my role as Vice President of the Ohio/Kentucky Division, helping develop the next generation of leaders, and providing college students with the same opportunities for growth, success, and personal development that have made such a lasting impact on my own career.
