When I first joined Young Entrepreneurs Across America, I wanted to step outside my comfort zone and prove to myself that I could take on a leadership role and manage a business from the ground up. This internship has been an incredible opportunity to develop real-world skills that I couldn’t have gained in a traditional classroom setting. Through hard work, determination, and the support of my mentors, I was able to sell and produce $76,000 this past summer. I’ve learned how to handle challenges in marketing, customer relationships, and operations while also building confidence as both a manager and leader. One of the most rewarding parts of this experience has been seeing tangible results of my work and gaining the ability to manage projects that truly mattered.
