Fernando Tenesaca

As a freshman, I was immediately drawn to this program because I wanted a unique opportunity that would challenge me while allowing me to earn income, strengthen my resume, and gain real-world experience. By the end of my first summer, I had successfully run a $120,000 business and earned about $20,000 in profit, which was a truly life-changing experience. I learned how to market and promote a valuable service, sell my own work, and lead both a marketing and production team while handling the daily challenges of running a business.


This experience taught me how to take on more responsibility than most college students and succeed at a high level, thanks to the incredible support from the Executive Team. Because of how much I grew, I decided to return for a second year as an Executive.


By the end of my second year, I managed my own business while coaching six rookie managers and oversaw $360,000 in total revenue. As an Executive, I learned even more than in my first year. I developed greater accountability, leadership, and the ability to help others succeed, while also learning how to scale a business model and turn rookie managers into confident leaders.
