My summer experience with Young Entrepreneurs Across America was truly one of a kind. Not only did I gain valuable insight into the professional business world, but I also earned far more than most college students typically make through other jobs or internships. Before this opportunity, I could never have imagined walking up to a stranger and starting a conversation, let alone knocking on doors to promote my own business.

Through this experience, I developed the confidence and communication skills to talk to anyone about anything. I also gained a deep belief in my ability to achieve my goals, no matter what challenges come my way. By the end of the summer, I generated over $71,000 in revenue and earned a profit of more than $20,000.

If someone had told me a year earlier that I would be running a successful painting business and profiting tens of thousands of dollars, I would have thought they were crazy. Along with an incredibly rewarding first year, I was proud to earn a position as an Executive for the 2022 season.
