My experience with Student Painters will go down as my biggest accomplishment so far. Being able to run a business at the age of 22 speaks for itself. If you can make it through a summer with Student Painters it shows that you're able to deal with problem solving both mentally and physically. Running your own business for an internship is an experience that will leave you a changed individual in front of your peers. This is a program that will turn college students into adults and will continue to lead as a success to our society.

I joined YEAA my junior year in college and I can honestly say that it has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. I learned so much about the business world that a classroom simply cannot teach you. This internship gave me the opportunity to run a small business from the ground up. I was able to see the results first hand because I was the one making the decisions. YEAA understands that this is an internship and that's why there is no risk of losing your own money when you start up. Not many college students can say that they ran their own small business while getting a bachelors degree. This is not an easy internship, but the rewards you gain from this experience is something that no other internship can compare to. I went from being a naive college student who knew nothing of business to overseeing a $62,000 business that I built from the ground up. I learned how to develop a marketing strategy, hire and fire employees, sell jobs, and oversee the daily operations of MY business. If you want to know what success tastes like, then I definitely recommend this program. I know that because of this program, I am far more ahead of my peers in business experience, which will give me an edge in the professional job market.
